Base 33- At base 33 we provide intensive support to vulnerable and disadvantaged young people who are experiencing a range of issues including drug and alcohol and substance misuse , teenage pregnancy, family breakdown and youth homelessness. We help these young develop coping strategies, confidence and self- esteem as well as providing practitcal help and signposting to relevant services. 

Better is a charitable social enterprise that owns and operates leisure facilities. We are owned by our employees and reinvest profits back in to our facilities and the wider community. Our aim is to create opportunities for everyone to participate in sport and physical activity and enjoy all the benefits that comes with this. This could be creating a free event that celebrates older people being active or sourcing funding for a girls football project that is delivered by Oxford United FC.

Cogges Heritage Trust is a charitable trust which aims to secure the heritage of Cogges Manor Farm in Witney and ensure continued public access to it. With a small staff and over 150 volunteers, the farm opens through the year to the public for visits, school groups, tours and cultural heritage events. The site welcomes over 50,000 visitors a year, with audiences drawn from all communities and with the filming of Downton Abbey at the farm, from around the world. 

Our mission is 'to help communities help themselves'. We support communities across Oxfordshire to prepare their own action plans, recruit local volunteers and provide their own services and facilities; making them a better place to live for their local residents 

Connection work to try and improve the lives of vulnerable adults who might be homeless, at risk of eviction or struggling to maintain their homes and independence. Our different projects include supporting rough sleepers to get off the street and into suitable accommodation, assisting clients with their benefits, debts, evictions and resettlement. Our Refugee projects provides support for syrian families arriving into oxford with their housing and settlement into the UK. Through our various projects we work to improve the lives of our clients who may be struggling with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, social isolation and others with addictions and histories of offending. 

Guideposts Trust is a social care & mental health charity in Witney. We focus first and foremost on people and their wellbeing within their own community. For over 40 years we have been here to ensure people with health & wellbeing needs don't become isolated and lonely. We do this by running a collection of local services including day centres, friendship schemes horticultural therapy all aimed at providing opportunities in witney for people with complex needs to feel actually valued, enabled and supported to live well. 

Our role is to collect as many stories about helath and social care from local people as possible with the aim of improving local health and social care services in the future. We are really keen to expand our knowledge and learn the views and experiences of young people. 

Hill End is an outdoor education centre who work with local schools and groups to provide quality outdoor learning. The site is managed by the County Council and owned by Oxford University who will join in with this project to run a variety of exciting outdoor activities. 

OCVA is a small charity with a team of 6 staff. Our job is to support over 4000 charities and community groups that operate in Oxfordshire. We provide them with guidance, training and advice on how to recruit and manage volunteers, access funding and run more successfully. We spend lots of time going out and visiting groups and we also help individuals who are wanting to volunteer.

Leonard Cheshire a major health and disability charity in the UK and in Oxfordshire we provide a home for people ages 65 and over, some of whom suffer from dementia. There are a range of activities for clients to participate in, including arts and crafts, cookery and games. They are provided with a home cooked meal and a warm safe environment.
